It all started in seventh grade when I began to write Yu Yu Hakusho fanfiction, which is a Japanese anime. A friend of mine and I thought it was the greatest story ever written. It was terrible. But since then I kept on writing fanfiction and eventually fairytales, historical fiction and even stories based around my dramatic teenaged life. 

Now I am twenty-four and finishing up my first novel. I began to write it in 2009: a regency romance about a less popular sister marrying her husband's beau. Then I began to re-write it and it turned into a murder mystey with a mixed race heroine. As a lover of history, I decided that it was perfectly fine or me to write a story with someone that I could identify. 

In any case, I plan on finishing my first novel in the summer of 2014. I live in North Dakota with my boyfriend and three cats. I love history, Pokemon, musicals and Korean pop. I spend my days trying my best to turn middle schoolers into fully-functional adults. I write books that contain pieces of my life.
